I am an organizer, how do I help with gift cards?

Share the Recipient’s Email:

We recommend including the recipient's email address for gift cards in the "Story" or "Special Instructions" section to facilitate participants who wish to send gift cards. For privacy reasons, the recipient's email associated with the Meal Train setup is not displayed on the Meal Train Page.


Request a Specific Brand of Gift Card:

The brands available on the gift card page are not customizable. If a particular brand of gift card is preferred, you can include a note to that effect in the Meal Train "Story" or "Special Instructions" section.


Manage Gift Cards:

The signed-in organizer (or recipient) of the Meal Train page can view a list of gifted cards, including the date, donor, brand, amount, delivery method (typically digital), and the email address to which the gift card was sent. To do so, from your Meal Train Dashboard page, click the Edit Page button and then the Manage Gift Cards button to view the list of givers. To assist the recipient in locating gift cards, please refer to the Recipient Gift Card help page.

Remove Gift Cards:

If you wish to remove the gift card widget, open the Meal Train page, click the "Edit Page" button at the top, and then click "Manage Gift Cards."
